 Following graduation from college, I was employed for the summer as a home service advisor for a public utility
company. During that time, I was invited to judge a sewing contest. Since that time, I have been intrigued
with the judging process. I derive a great sense of personal satisfaction from the judging
experience when artistic talent and excellence in workmanship are recognized and rewarded.
I was certified by The Embroiderers' Guild of America as a Certified Needlework Judge
in 1990. I became an EGA Master Needlework Judge in 1995. In 2002, I completed
the National Quilting Association's three-year Judge's Certification Program.
